Cup Final day! Good preparation and i asked the players to give all they had unfortunately it wasnt enough. With the mini soccer watershed upon us i told the players pre match to stick together stay positive and stick to our gameplan. On the whole we did and it was a good cup final ,exciting yet needless to say i am dissapointed with the result. As it is our last game at mini soccer and i will not be managing this side next season for the saturday campaign i will keep my own counsil on what could have been done better to prevent the goals. What i will say is that these are great group of players and i would encorage any interested players to join up with next season i would certainly sign callum up yet i will be having at least a season out.today we went a goal down early yet equalised through our never say die attitude. we took the lead yet couldnt hold onto it and went into the dreaded extra time. the next goal was going to be huge and we did have our chances yet it was pex hill who took the lead and ours were visibly tired the closing down was a little bit slower. the third goal sealed it and a good fourth followed.we were done. GOALS owen 2 MAN OF THE MATCH alex-picked out by the league officials WELL DONE ALEX i will give alex my praise at the presentation thanks for the season lads. what i said in the after match talk is true- how good you now become is up to you mini soccer is over keep pushing to up your level and good luck you are all good players yet it is hard work to stay good players! stay hungry!!!!!
